Blended for George Washington and named for the shop's sixth formula. Bergamot, lemon, and lime over rosemary and amber — a citrus built when cologne was still a novelty on this side of the Atlantic. The oldest American fragrance in continuous production.

The scent of the American clubhouse: bergamot and tangerine over geranium and ylang-ylang, grounded in oakmoss and sandalwood. Kennedy kept a bottle on his White House dresser. Fit for a president — proven on one.

Elixir of Love
Rediscovered in the house archives: lavender lifted by jasmine and artemisia, anchored in Egyptian musk. Romance as the nineteenth century wrote it — by hand, in ink.
