Caswell-Massey Heritage Number Six Eau de Parfum · Decant
Caswell-Massey's Number Six — American heritage citrus-aromatic — Calabrian bergamot / clove / Damascus rose. Hand-decanted from an authentic bottle in three travel-friendly sizes.
Number Six — first bottled in 1772 and re-mastered in 2018 by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, an eau de parfum with a fair claim to the title of America's oldest fragrance. Brand lore holds that George Washington wore it. Calabrian bergamot, wild rosemary, and neroli open bright and herbal; clove, molten amber, and dry Damascus rose give the heart its Federal-era gravity; white musk and lavender carry the dry-down. Two and a half centuries in continuous production — endurance as a form of style.
Top: Calabrian bergamot, wild rosemary, neroli
Heart: Clove, molten amber, dry Damascus rose
Base: White musk, lavender
