Xerjoff Naxos — an Eau de Parfum released in 2015 within the house's XJ 1861 collection, named for the Sicilian shore where citrus groves run down to the sea. Lemon and bergamot open bright over lavender and a thread of incense; jasmine, honey, and cinnamon warm the heart; vanilla, tobacco leaf, and tonka bean settle into a long, golden drydown. Widely counted among the modern benchmarks of the honeyed-tobacco genre — sweetness with a spine, sunlight with a shadow.
